About Us
Our Vision
To see people’s lives transformed towards a restored, and a healthy relationship with God, with themselves, with others, and with the environment
Our Mission
We partner with individuals, churches and community initiatives involved in discipleship, empowerment, and poverty alleviation for the benefit of the vulnerable and marginalized in Botswana
Our Objectives
- To equip, strengthen and sustain local initiatives and projects through training, mentoring, networking, practical and financial support.
- To maintain relationships with donors
Flying Mission Care (FMC) seeks to support community, faith and other non-government organisations which work in the areas of discipleship, HIV and AIDS, health improvement, empowerment, and poverty alleviation for the benefit of the vulnerable and marginalized in Botswana. FMC is specifically involved in programmes providing support for orphans and vulnerable children, and pre-school and day care centre, as well as projects focused on prevention and empowerment.
FMC is an enabler rather than an implementer of projects; it seeks to pull alongside associates who are working in-line with our objectives, in a supporting and resourcing role with the goal of enabling them to achieve their visions and objectives, to a point of sustainability. This may be through mobilising the local community, or through linking them with individuals or groups that can support them, mobilising and channelling donations made to FMC, providing training (e.g. in governance, accounting, proposal writing, and other specialist training) and placement of short-term volunteers.
